Professionals from a leading firm of mortgage advisers, which moved to new offices in Romford earlier this month following a rebrand, are celebrating after they were named as finalists in two categories of a prestigious business awards.
Home of Mortgages is in contention for the Small Business of the Year category at the Thames Gateway Awards.
Meanwhile, the firm’s founder and Managing Director, Michael O’Brien, is in the running for the Business Person of the Year category at the same awards.
As part of the rigorous judging process for the awards, Home of Mortgages made a detailed submission, setting out its success as a business and its plans for the future, with a separate submission detailing Michael’s relentless efforts to drive the business forward.
The next stage in the process will be a visit from the judges to the firm’s offices, after which they will make the final decision about who will be crowned as the winner of each category.
Michael O’Brien said: “This is a wonderful way to mark the launch of Home of Mortgages. The judges have clearly recognised our achievements and the fact that we remain ambitious, with our office move and rebrand. This is great recognition not only for myself, but also for the team as a whole.
“We understand the fundamental importance of providing first-rate client service, going above and beyond at every opportunity. This has driven our success as a business to date and we are working to deliver the kind of service that will drive Home of Mortgages towards further success in the future.
“I am now looking forward to being able to meet the judges and to showing them around our new offices in Romford.”
The winners of the Thames Gateway Business Awards 2017 will be announced at a prestigious ceremony in the autumn.
